    okay so my flame angel has recently developed a white translucent film over his eye.... should I quarantine him? Is it contagious? ...all my params are on check according to fish store...

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Eye infections are sometimes just symptoms of other issues. I would certainly test my own water and make sure of it's quality. Sometimes it is the result of an injury as well.
