WHich pumps to use for corals ?

Budget and preference. It's up to you what you really want. I went with the Tunze 6105's and a 7092 controller with the optical light sensor thing. Super silent, moves lots of water, adjustable. Can be controlled by an Apex in the future if I choose too. I can make a wave that will dump 15 gallons out of the tank if I wanted too. If the impeller has anything stuck the pump turns itself off and will stay that way until it's cleared. I bought the controller and one 6105 new one 6105 used. All tank inhabitants are happy.

 

As I suggested, buy stateside with those offering warranty, if you desire one. I routinely look for deals and haven't had any equipment fail. It's like buying Nike when a good old Haynes will do the trick. Some people want the brand name, others are fine without it.
