    Hi, Everyone.

    I have the following: 1- t5 actinic
    2- 14,000k mh
    1- 10,000k t5
    4- white moon led
    30" deep tank .4ft long
I want to replace the 10k t5 with somthing more blue. It looks yellow with 14,000k MH's . Is any brand better? UV? Giesemann? Anybody have any ideas? I was thinking about a 20,000k, a marine blue, or maybe another actinic. I want it blue but not dark. Thanks in advance.

dont have all the options on tubes out here
have used/ amd using the Gieseman 22K actinic plus tubes in the following ratio on my tank

    4 x 14k
    2 x 22k actinic plus

its a nice blue but not overly blue
so if you had 1 x 22K actinic along with your 2 x 14k lamps - I think it might be the colour
your looking for based on your comments above

there are other options - I can only comment really on what I have available

I would go with an ATI or Giesemann Blue/Actinic + (depending on brand) these are BLUE lamps... If you want a more VIOLET color buy an Actinic lamps... UVLs Super actinic is a decent actinic as far as that goes. Personally am more fond of the blue over the true actinic, if it was me I would get a Blue+

UVL Superactinic is what I would get. I am running four of them now in my 8x54W fixture. Great bulb.
