which led system to buy ?

Reefbreeders is awesome! Was one of the first to get their brand new par38 bulb. I'm loving it so far!

 

checked out reefbreeders and they are out of stock. any one have the marineland led ? they seem to be at all the retailers.

 

I don't think he keeps them in stock. If you click "details", you can then add it to your cart.

I don't believe the marineland LED unit is what you will want for a reef tank. jmo

The reef breeders were out of stock when I ordered a few weeks ago. They should be getting a shipment anytime now. I bought the 24" photon with 90 optics.

 

have you ever thought of some diy leds

 

well i still have not decided on a unit yet. having a corner tank, i am not sure 8 or 8.5 inches wide will work for my setup. i really do not want to try the do-it-yourself. my aquavim fixture does work when the unit is updside down. when i put it on the tank some of the blue rows eventually go out. i with i could just figure out what is wrong with it if it is a simple fix.
