which corals for my tank

Ok how much with 2 250s run and do i keep the power compact to or ditch em

 

4 hundred dollars if they come with good bulbs and ballast. low quality around 3 hundred.

yea not cheap i know. but lighting is one of the most import things. you can keep them and use them as actinics if you want, but when it comes time to replace the bulbs there gonna cost atleast $80. i would sell them and try to get a hundred dollars or so.
t5 cost around the same as halides

 

should i but from a local fish store or online and should i replace the 2 white lights with blue so i will be running 4 blue and 2 250 mh also do u know the sizes on the 2 250mh

online definately the lfs price would kill you.
try ebay, just research what you buy on there there are some cheap ones like oddyseas were your garuenteed to need new bulbs and possibly a new ballast.

you can if you want, but right now i would save the money and just put it towards a better quality halide fixture.
