If you get the full Apex you won't need the VDM module. It has the 0-10v ports already built in. That's how I currently dimm all three MeanWell drivers.

V1/V2 - V3/V4 are where your drivers will plug in using the Apex dimming cable. aka Ethernet cable ;)

So how will that work if I have 6 Dimmable Drivers and 2 Constant Current drivers?

You will need the Apex Full and VDM module. Together they will control 8 drivers independently.

The constant drivers will just work off a timer.

So with the Apex you can only control 4 dimmable drivers with the head unit, and then would have to buy an additional VDM module if you had more?

EDIT: ^^^ Nevermind...I was too slow.

Ok a little more detail here.

I have 6 Dimmable Drivers (3 for Whites) and (3 for Blues) and about to install 2 Constant Currents for the UV that I'm supplementing with.

Can I run 3 Drivers to 1 port since they're all blue, run 3 white drivers all to the other port, and then run the constant currents just off of a regular timer ports programmed to turn on just after sunrise, and off just after sunset?

    Well savings are good lol.

The constant currents will run Reds, Cyans, and UV's

2 Heatsinks. 1.4"x24" each will have 8 UV, 2 Red, and 2 Cyan running on a 700mA constant current driver.

I just want to add them to pop some colors and supplement my current LED setup.

You will want to have the supplements on a dimmable driver. I am installing a dimmable driver for my supplement LEDs tonight.

were you running them constant current before?

I figured running at 700 mA there was no way I'd want them lower than that.

I have 2 dimmable drivers here, maybe I should use those instead.
