where do you check you PM on 3reef

yeah there is no option for PM. can somone just send me a test message and let me know if u send something maybe then it will show up ?

I can't PM you, because you haven't enabled PMing. I just checked. Click User CP, then from the left side column on that page select Edit Options, then scroll down a bit to select the check box "Enable Private Messaging." I just did all those steps and they work.

go to the home page and if it's still not there hit refresh or click the compatability view icon on your browser.

 

still not working there is nothing there under edit option about private messages does someopne have an adminstration acccount or somethign

 

This has been resolved.

You were not able to use PMs yet because you are a relatively new member.
However, I have modified the settings a bit so that you can use it now.

FYI

New 3reef members have some restrictions. New members may not vote in polls or use PMS for the first two weeks or so until a certain threshold is reached which promotes the new member to true 'member' status.

These restrictions are needed to help reduce spam - people signing up, not posting, and using PMs to promote - and also to reduce cheating in polls.

Unfortunately the reasons for these restrictions do not go away, so they remain.
