When can i add cleaner shrimp?

    my ammonia has read just above 0 for ammonia for the longest time now, i had big spikes during the long 8 week cycle, but has sense read at .25 i'll be getting new test kits really soon. But i'm like 90% positive my test kits are off. And as far as dead snail, they were just added earlier this afternoon, so not that, and it was showing before i added the clowns as well

    Hmm... I read in my book about percula clowns, they shouldnt harm the shrimp at all...

    Maybe mine had a grudge with that shrimp :lol:

    You can add them now. ;D:) I personally have 2 and they are awesome. I like the Fire Shrimp the best though. That's the one I would go for if I were you. ;)

    hahaha maybe i think my female would like the shrimp, after all she liked the inverts

    maybe i'll get some from the lfs this weekend. Do they also eat algae?

    I havent noticed my 3 eating a ton of algae, they are more pre occupied with playing with the fish :p

    Oh, if I remember right, Peppermint Shrimp are substrate cleaners lol... :p I think they are more for algae control and stuff.

    i havent done any research on them yet, but if there aren't many fish in the tank yet, what do you feed them?

    Mine come out and eat my flake food when i feed and also shrimp and even my frozen angelfish food... otherwise they are pre occupied in the rocks. They havent made a huge impact I guess for me to notice them eatting algae cause I dont have a ton of it. Where as the urchin ... I can tell where hes been lol.. He likes the back of the aquarium cause I dont clean the back glass :angel:
