True, and at least you didn't get caught doing this!
This is my friend Katlyn dancing to the song "Im too sexy" and my friend Brittany and I are hiding behind a bed and chair taping her. I still cant believe she didn't hear Britt laughing.

This has been my experience as well, though my distaste for the beach is note as strong as yours. I think the documentary people look long and hard for interesting and visually appealing bits of reef.

In reality, there's a lot of dead coral, lots of not nearly so photogenic fish.

    +1 for admitting to it.

Yeah in the ocean you pretty much see different types of terrain and life everywhere you go. When I was on a dive trip in the Bahamas, we either dived in places that were:

almost all sand, with random rock "islands" evey 40+ yards or so. The rock islands had tons of corals with fish darting in and out, and reminded me somewhat of our tanks. Except caribbean fish and coral = bleah compared to the pacific.

places that were essentially a giant maze of rocks. You'd be on the bottom on the sand at say, 75 feet. the tops of the rocks surrounding you were at 60 feet. It was amazing swimming through mazes and mazes of rock walls 15 feet high.

Places that were all rock, with some caves leading down to some sand.

My favorites were the rock "maze" dives and the wreck dives. And if you ever scuba dive in the bahamas, you'll see why chromis and damsels are so dirt cheap  (yes, I know chromis are technically damsels, you know what I mean) They're EVERYWHERE.

One of things I really enjoy is shooting at long range, During this time of year pumpkins can be purchased cheap. Fill them with ketchup or something to that effect set them at 200-300 yards and blast them. Gives you a good idea on what damage a high speed round can do. Some of my freinds say I am about 5 minutes away from being on a rooftop with a rifle.

I play video games. Love first person shooters.

I still use my air guitar reguraly and have been known to sing as well. Get caught all the time but I do not care. I was having fun. I have also played the air drums and air organ/piano. The dash of a car makes a great keyboard.

I love to collect, build and restore different types of old go carts. Not to make money but so i can drive them. i am restoring a Bugatti at this time. I tell everyone that I am building them for the kids but the funny thing is they do not get to ride them.

I play poker at the local casino. That in itself may not sound bad but I will arrive at the hotel in the afternoon and go to sleep with the clothes on that i will wear that night. i look like i am half in the bag and the wrinkled clothes make people think I have been up all day/night and they think i am easy pickings until they see their money leave with me.

On another note I do not understand how to compare a fish tank to a live reef in the sea. I have been diving all over the world and the real thing is much better then a tank. Don't get me wrong I love my tank but seeing the real thing up close is so much better....in my opinion.
