Whats the best salt out right now?

they aren't at all, but you're onto something. They are close enough, that if you have SPS and clams and are dosing daily, the param differences in each salt doesn't matter. Because you're gonna adjust your daily dosing to whatever the param's are, so who really cares, as long as they are kinda high to help minimize dosing.

 

Rscsp is very good, but dollar wise you can't beat the new kent reef salt. Anyone that has tried kent before should reconsider. Its completely different than it was only a little over a year ago. From what I remember, the alk ca and mag are right on with rcsp at much less money per gallon.


I used to use rcsp, but I see no reason to use a more expensive salt that is really no better. This is especially true when you are already running a calcium reactor.
