whats the best alk level for reefs???

    whats the best for a reef??? mine is reading at a dKH of 6

    6-14 dkd but there isnt a best number i would say to see when ur tank looks the best and then u got your personal best number my 75gal looks better at 10-11 dkh then it does at 7 and my 20gal looks better at 6-7 hope this helps some.

    I shoot for 7. If you start rising any higher than that, i think corals start looking a bit more brown.
