    diatoms then film then cyano it sounds. I think your rock is leaching still with ammonia..

    From the research i've seen on cyano it just doesnt have the same features. More like red dots that are a nice deep color. I was thinking just red algea but maybe it's cyano. Anyway to eb sure of this?

    Only way to be sure is if it turns into a blankety red slime. Keep an eye on it. It very well could be coraline. I remember seeing red dots develop on my rocks during cycling and it just turned out to be coraline.
