what type of alge is this?

    im wondering what type of alge this is its kind of an eye sore
    and should i just pull it out by hand?it is the obvious long green hair alge on the left.

    give me 5 minutes to resize and up load. had to turn halides back on and also
    if you might know what these to slugs are just saw them when i turned my lights on finnaly got a pic of them

    Thats not the typical hair algae.... Thats maidens hair algae. Its more of an ornamental algae. I would still toss it, but you might be able to sell it because some people like to have it.

    thanks for the answer.i will eradicate asap its kind of an eye sore
    and my rabit fish keeps hiding in it and not of any of the caves

    im still deciding on the last fish to add to the tank since it only has 3. 2 of which are going to grow more i think the puffer is an adult

    If you plan on upgrading at some point, I'd go with a small tang.
