I am getting this stuff popping up here and there on one of my tanks.. I was worried that it may be bryopsis but not real confident.. its bright green but the one patch on the rhicordia is a little darker than the rest.. I cut the whites on this morning to take a couple quick pics..

Thoughts on the type and some suggestions on what may eat it?

I'm interested in responses. I've been getting patches of something similar. I was thinking it was turf algae.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I believe it's a type of Chaetomorpha, which only grows in my tank when nutrient levels are too high.

+1 Nutrients are the problem. Adding animals to eat the algae is really just a bandaid.Concentrate on nutrient removal.;-)

+2 definitely get hold on the nutrient levels, but it wont hurt to put in an algae eater if you dont already have one. They're good for all tanks :)
