    Ok I was adding some cyclopeze to the tank and noticed a pair of eyes and what looked a little like claws/pinchers something.
    Later Iafter watching this carachter for a while I realized they did not look like claws-not sure what they are but.....

    This thing dwells in a hole in one of my rocks that I picked u p about 2 weeks ago. It stays in the hole for shelter but when I put my syringe close to it, it attacks-I think its after food. Its so fast I cant get a picture while its out. I could video tape it but here lets try this.

    Also the hole is smaller than an eraser on a pencil, my guess is 1/4" in diameter.

    Here are the photos and it is almost right n the center of the photo, let me know if it is not obvious;

    Neat animal, but need to be alone.. got another tank to put him in?
    LFS may take him as well, maybe even for trade in. Depends on the type of mantis

    Sounds like, if you just put the piece of rock in there, you can take it out just as easily?

    Depends on what you have in the tank "invert wise" with it. I had a small one that would "flick" passing snails/hermits to no avail. They have a bad rep for no reason. Now, find a peacock, or, one of the larger, more aggressive species, then, inverts are in trouble. Can we get another pic with a flash to get a better look at it? Is it a dark brown color?

    I glued the rock but can probablly break (I hate to use that word with a glass tank) it free.

    For sure dudes got to go-Yes????

    If I cant remove the rock-I have a solution but it is not a touchy feely sort of solution.

    But hes got to go-Yes???
