    Looks like a large bubble algae. Whatever you do, don't bust it. Try and suck it out.

    +1 The dreaded bubble algae. Try to cut the holdfast without bursting the bubble.:angry: Emerald crabs are hit or miss when it comes to this algae. If you do add one try and get a female. They are less aggressive.

    I just pick them out with my fingers. Just be careful so that it dosn't break. They usually aren't attached too strongly, so, a gentle wiggle will break them loose in tact.

    well i dont have enough room in my tank for a foxface but i think ill remove it with my hand and if that doesnt work ill try my chances with emerald crabs
