What is your idea of a gift for a Reef Tank Enthusiast

    lol, my xmas list is full of URLs

    makes it easier when wifey tells her family, etc. what i want.

    i actually sent my wife the same link i quoted above last year. she was on 3reef for a day to get the info ;D


    I started doing that after this story:

    I asked my wife for a kukri. And I described it as "ya know, a 'bent machete'".

    I was concerned I might end up with a sickle or a scythe.

    But, no. I ended up with this unnameable thing:
    Double Edged Weeder-1907800 at The Home Depot

    I bought my own dang kukri off Amazon.

    For me, like many of us it seems, I don't have relatives in the hobby. While I would gladly accept any gifts from the above lists :))), most people don't know what they are, and therefore aren't going to spend the money on what seems to be some random object.

    I would suggest a gift certificate or reference books.

    My Dad asked me for a wishlist for christmas stuff, the only "reasonably" priced stuff I could think of was reef related (lol). My list will have lots of links too.

    Great replies guy! I agree with some of you that yes it is hard for a non reefer to buy a gift for a reefer...so we have gift cards for that...keep them coming!
