    im starting to think it might be a shrimp.maybe pepperment or cleaner not sure.

    What picture of a mysis are you using as reference?

    How deep is the intake on your canister?

    i looked up all species of it in saltwater.the intake is about midway in the tank.

    i cought one and put in in a tank i just set up to see if it grows or if im just seeing stuff.this is the first time i seen these guys in there. i seen baby shrimp in my tank thought it was micro bubbles but it was shrimp and that was about 2-3 months ago.maybe some babbies made to the canister.idk

    how would i even getlive mysis shrimp in my tank?

    If you had shrimp spawn in your tank then the fry could have been sucked into the filter.

    BUT IT SAYS THERE EMERALD CRAB LARVAE AND I DONT HAVE ANY IN MY TANK BUT IT LOOKS CLOSE TO THIS.sorry for the caps.

    Is it possible you added live rock that had the larvae on it?

    I never found live larvae in my canister. They tend to get released at dawnish and swim up to the surface. In no time of hitting the filter, they usually get smashed so there are little remains.

    How big are we talking?

    Mysis can hitch in on anything, same way amphipods, Isopods and Copepods do.

    i added a new peice but im sure it had nothing on it it was still white and came out of my 10 gallon tank thats housed sea horses.
