Urgent What is this? - Pics -

+1 I've seen similar on a couple of my fish shortly after purchase, but it always went away in a week or so. only time I lost anyone (from what I assumed was ich) was after a 6 day power outtage. Personally feel like treatment involves too many risk factors. Your tank=poison for various things afterwards, and I've heard a lot of people talk about tank crashes caused by medicating. Even if you QT the fish and wait out the 12+ fish-free weeks in you DT there is no guarantee that any new fish/inverts/etc won't be carriers IMO

 

I'm converting my Evolve 8 into a Q tank with copper.

I also ordered a 13 watt UV internal filter for my Solana tank just in case. I realize it won't stop Ich but maybe it'll help reduce it a bit.

 

So in the hospital tank, the original white dots have gone but this growth on the head has gotten much larger...*
