Fragging means taking a fragment of a coral and separating it from the rest to grow a new colony. Usually you would cut a head or piece off and glue it to a frag plug. It will then grow out into a completely new piece.

What type of brain coral is it?

That is one of the more stony and easier to cut brains. Not completely sure of the name I want to say favia but not sure.

You can frag those pretty easily with a dremil tool by cutting off a section being carefull to cut through as few of the mouths as possible.

    Great coloration by the way.

Thats a favia, they way i frag those is with a dremel until ur close to the flesh, once you use the dremel to cut thru the rock, use a razor on the under side of the favia to cut the flesh. The reason behind this is it doesnt rip up the skin, and gives a much cleaner and neater cut.

    Ya definitely.

I didnt notice you asked about fragging other corals. Xenia and cabbage leather are even easier. Xenia you just peel a section off the rock and tie it to another rock until it attaches to it. Cabbage leather you can cut with scissors and tie to a rock until it attaches.
