Store bought top off water?- as in distilled, or RO water?

You might try a RO/DI, and make your own top off and WC water.

I had undectables too, and made my DIY reactor that I put Phosguard in.
    Since then, cyano disappeared.
Easy and cheap to make- the main part is an old gartorade plastic bottle.
    Good luck.

I have been using and rodi system from the beginning so that isn't my problem.

I'd love to see some more info about your DIY phosphates system.

Will its suppose to be this tripled filtered RO water, what is the DI in that? I got some PhosBan and Chemi-Pure that I am going to run in my canistor filter even though I have no levels of Phosphate or Nitrates. It was tested at PetCo and with my kit and both showed 0

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Does this algae develop bubbles? Does it die back with lights out and then grow noticeable during the lighting period.

    1. No water changes, for some reason it seems to feed the dino.
    2. Complete black out for 4 days, your corals will be fine. Cover the tank so no light gets in. Do not cover it so much that you prevent gas exchange. Once the black out is over increase lighting period slowly, do not start by keeping the lights on the same schedule you had before. If you see the dino start to grow again, reduce the lights again.
    3. Everyday take a turkey baster and clean all rocks and corals and substrate. Allow the mechanical filtration, sponges or floss or sock to remove the particles and then clean that filtration.
    4. Maintain a good pH of 8.2-8.4 as much as possible.

I will try this! Poor Corals are going to be mad getting stuck in the dark, but I have a question Corailline, you mentioned maintaining a good PH, I just checked it and my PH at this time is 7.5, should a get this up before doing the blackout treatment? Does this include not feeding the fish?

You can feed the fish I did.

You're pH is really too low.

What time are you testing it with relation to the photoperiod, beginning, middle, end?

Do not attempt to correct the pH quickly. Are you dosing anything, have a reactor of any type, what is your ALK, do have a magnesium level?

Sorry for all the questions but one plays off the other.
