what is the best way to cure iseases & parasites?? copper or hyposalinity??

    is copper best to treat fish with iseases,parasites or hyposalinity??

    from what i read hyposalinity kills ich
    and copper kills velvet

    i personally prefer just loading to food i feed them with extra vitamins and garlic rather than any kind of other treatment...only as a last resort would i "treat" a tank
