What is my clam expelling?

    Thanks for the link. It says: Tridacnids normally release some clear mucus from around their mantles and upper surfaces. The mucus often has some air bubbles within it. The clam is getting rid of excess carbon from photosynthesis.

    So could be that I guess.

    so did your other one open up yet? my derasa had a shrimp picking at it so i think it might be in bad shape
