What is coming out of my live rock

Phew! Lol. Just weird to see those little guys feeling all over your coral like a teenager trying to go to second base. Thanks again guys for all the help!

Brittle!!

 

K to keep this going, i want to add that I see these coming out of 3 different rivals now. I want to know why they don't come out of the rock ever. And..... do those brittle stars multiply like that? Why am I seeing so many now???

 

I meant rocks, not rivals

The tiny micro brittle stars tend to keep the main body portion hidden in the rock with only the legs sticking out, once in awhile you see them out and about but they mostly remain hidden. Sometimes a water change resulting in changes in water chemistry, like alk and sg swings will cause them to come out of the rock and spawn all at one time.
