What Hermit Crab Is This?

Right, i love my little guys, they're so lively.
The polyps dont smell. Will they really be able to recover if nothing picks at them?

 

i've heard of zoas surviving two months with out light, they bleach like yours are then they slowly get back there color. if there is a coral that will survive its either zoas or mushrooms.

edit i wouldn't recommend trying to have zoas go with out light for that long. the guy i talked may have just been lucky

 

Oh No! I would NEVER Willingly let a creature go without its essentials. Im glad to hear that though. It gives me hope.

 

i dont think many fish store can give credit like they used to with the way shipping has gone....

 

lol i felt really bad when i took a lot of frogspawn up to trade in, 165 dollars of credit was alot more then i expected.

 

I Think im gonna have to find another LFS, the guys at mine are complete D!cks. They will tell you anything you wanna hear just to make a sale. And their livestock is handled poorly. Try watching some guy dip his hand in a tank and chase around a poor fish and then grab it by the tail, ripping it then saying "It'll grow back" with a shrug and throwing it into a bag!

 

Tell me about this! I bought 5 snails unsure of what kind that had pink shells along with a few other snails and several new shells. Many of my hermies checked out the new shells a couple changed but 5 are now sporting nicepink shells!!!
