This used to be a female Anthias. Not necessarily unusual for a female to change to male in this species, but I already have a male in the tank!

A few more tank pics using my new Nikon D750 on my build thread.

    Enough room for two males?

What a beautiful fish. How often do you feed?

It's pretty comman for anthias to change like that and the worst is usually to come from it sadly. I wanted a trio for mh 90 but always feared for the sex change even though an a established male was settled in the trio. I've read stories where people have a nice harem for 1 male and one female dies so they decide to replace it with a stray female from the store. then the female endes up changing and cubes havoc in the group. it happens but it's one of those luck of the draw things. if the tank is big enough for 2 then leave them be I say. beautiful fish by the way.

I had 4 females and two of them changed at about the same time to males. It's been this way for about 8 months. I watch them very closely for aggression (although I have no idea how I'd take one out if necessary), but so far so good. Occasionally the males chase the females but never any male/male fighting.
Maybe like Corailline said you have enough room for 2 males. Hopefully it works out! For both of us! ;)
