Mexican turbo snails eat algae like crazy. But, they are also bulldozers...
+1 on the Bulldozers. You'd be surprised what they can move. I know I was.

I have two urchins which are doing a pretty good job eating mine.
Hermits eat hair algae pretty well.
Adding or increasing magnesium can help as well.
................. and hair algea has been grown for 14 million years, now, THATS old, and, I dont think it is gonna stop any time soon, so, people like me could easily use 14 million more years of answers if we havnt (god help us) found a solution by then.
What "I" want to know is, why am "I" getting it? No fish, 4 shrimp and a purple lobster in a 110g (actual water volume) tank with very minimal feedings!? I feed maybe once a week and that would be 10 large pellets!?
Someone explain that!
