Here in a bit I will be checking the pump to see if it is still alive. I have already been looking into a new pump so I wanted to know what you guys think about a few pumps. Sicce, Jebao, Reef Octopus, and I am not sure this one has enough head pressure Eheim.

I think these are all submersible but if you notice one that is not which i have linked here please let me know. To let you know what i am looking for is upward of 1000 gph and i have about 12.5 ' of head pressure and i am not willing to do inline, too many possible leak factors for me.

If you have one of these pumps I really would like to know how you like it and if not but you are familiar with pumps, I greatly appreciate your help. I am new to looking at pumps since yesterday so I don't know what i am doing here.

    Thanks in advance

Pump still not working, and won't run at all now. I seem to be having problem after problem recently.

Anyone have one of the previously mentioned pumps or a recommendation on a different pump.

I have an eheim. It's a great return pump, but higher uo the price scale. Quiet and reliable return though. I also have a Sicce 3 running some stuff and no complaints there either.

Problem solved. Hopefully Jebao won't let me down for a while. The funny thing is if this pump dies in 6 months it is still cheaper than my last one that lasted 9 months. I may buy a backup in a couple months to avoid this type of problem in the future.
