What corals are good for the sandbed?

    now its doing much better after ive moved him, he's inflated as we speak, now its just my bubble, he aint doing so good since he ate the chromis, he still has pieces of chromis in his mouth

    Give him time, I fed my Lobo a few days ago, and he had a little left over silverside( Its used to mysis), He was not happy looking for the next 30 hours but all puffy and good now. :)

    yea its a couple chuncks, guess he's a slow eater, but he's the one who decided to grab the chromis so its his fault if hes not feeling well, looks pretty ugly right now

    i keep fungia, herpolithia, zoas, acans, elegance corals, trachaphyllias, all do great and in nature are found on the sand or right next to sand zones

    Dunno but enjoying following this thread since I am planning on placing some corals on the sand...

    My Duncans seem to be doing fine on the sand in front of a dialed down MP40. I think they can handle more flow than some other LPS. They shorten up their tentacles but still seem happy. I haven't had them in that position for more than a month though maybe so maybe long term they won't do as well.

    How about a plate coral skeleton with zoos on it.....I have it in my sand bed in a high flow area and they are thriving. Looks cool too in the sand.

    I have a fungia in my sand bed but I had to redo the placement of my powerheads so that it didn't get the crap beat out of it with water, LOL.
