Can you point me towards a picture of what you mean when you say deep blue vs more of a white light. I think I understand but just want to be certain before I buy. I feel like I have more of a white light right now and if that's the case then I definitely want to blue it up a bit.

Can't think of any at this time. The bulbs you last said you wanted to get will produce something in the 18000K to 20000K range. The first one would be more of a 14000K range.

Nano tuners has a nice T5HO thread if I remember right that has some good pics with color camparisons.

This is exactly what I was going to say... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ATI bulbs... they are far better than geisemann...

They will give you plenty of par and look great!

I use a six bulb T5 fixture and I add to that combo above a pure Actinic in front and another blue + in the back, in the same order as 2in10 suggests.

So, my fixture is this (front to back):

    ATI Pure Actinic
    Blue +
    Aquablue Special
    Aqua Pink
    Blue +
    Blue +

It's plenty blue without being over blue... my corals look great and pop with lots of color!

Will you post a picture of your tank Gabba? I checked your tank thread but I'd love to see a full tank shot.

OK, I just took some photos with my iphone camera... these are untouched, but each has a slightly different "white balance" so you can hopefully get an idea of how the lights look...

I've uploaded them to my tank thread, linked in my signature... ;)

    thanks for asking!

EDIT: I guess my signature didn't show up in this post... here is the link to my post:

    I run:
    Ati aquablue
    Uvl sun
    Ati blue plus
    Uvl 454

Gives a very good range and all are high par

Thanks! That helps a lot since that's very similar to what I was thinking.

You tank will look a little bit brighter since the first bulb is a strong blue instead of purple-blue.
