What cleans sand better??

even if you put everything from an old tank into a new tank, your still going to experience a cycle, at least a small one if not an entire cycle again..mixing up the sand can release some nasty stuff that will re-cycle a tank...there is very little bacteria in the water column itself..

not necessarily wrong....it will work, but you just need to wait to see if you are going to cycle...how long ago did you transfer everything over? Do you have your own water test kit? Not the strips, the actual liquid kits will give you the results you need....I'd wait to put anything in the new tank till you make sure your system is stable...we all make mistakes but thats what 3reef is here for..to help you learn...believe me I didnt know ANYTHING 2 years ago..but with reading stuff on here and researching everything i could on the internet, i like to consider myself "decent" in the advice giving...that and the fact that my reef is booming like crazy, so i must be doing something right..lol

 

i transferred every thing over a little over a week ago. yes i have my own LIQUID test kit
and hahahaah wen i say i transferrd every thing i meant the coral,and fish(sea horses) to hahahah which are doing fine
