What bulbs?

For my new lighting setup I want to go for the shallow reef look, so in other words not blue. What color temp should I use to achieve this? I was thinking 10k maybe? These are 250 watt metal halides.

Do you have experience with this bulb? If so what type of color did it give off?

 

You will want to use a 10,000K, but you may want to actually see people's tanks with the bulbs you are looking at, as there can be a big difference between brands and ballasts. Check out this link, it should help.

I will post a picture tommorow. Its a pretty crisp white with just a tad bit of blue.
