Hurt, sure, killed, no. Getting hurt doesn't mean the animal was trying to hurt you though, there are a lot of ways to get hurt caring for animals :) Even a good rubbing with their skin can do some decent damage.

Pretty much what I assumed. I meant to say 'hurt by an intentional act' I suppose. Thanks. :)

The lights have been turned off, but you can still see the sharks swim in front of the camera! Creepy!

Haha. I noticed that too. For a second I thought I should remove the post from the homepage - then I saw that. :)

I have more news to put up but this web cam is a show-stopper!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

Yes it is, a show stopper. My lap top sits on my table during meal times so I can watch the cam. I really like how it pans across the tank.

I for one have really appreciated it for the time it has been up.

That's great. I have 2 monitors at work and I had the web cam streaming on one of them, while I tried to work on the other one. That didn't last too long.

I am ready to road-trip to this aquarium now!!

    Who all has been there?

Me... it wasn't my cup of tea, but I am more into seeing biotopes and far less into seeing whale sharks and whales in captivity. I hate even seeing otters and seals in aquariums :( We all draw our own line some place and I do not knock GA.

Apparently two of the Beluga whales where moved from a Mexican theme park, and the Whale Sharks were part of the now abolished annual Taiwan fishing kill quota. They would have been killed and eaten had they not been taken to Georgia. FWIW.

Oh and did I hear something about a road trip? I'm just north of you, Matt. :D
