    I have less than an inch, some times the flow or fish move some around and I can see bottom. Other than that it is not a problem.

    As long as none of the inhabitants need a deeper sand bed, I don't see why not.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Mine is less than an inch and it's fine. I do not need sand stirrers and it vacuums rather nicely.

    good i plan in puttimg a dotty back, my blue damsel a yellow black stripe cromis and a bleeny in this 29g

    Sounds like a plan, although I could see an issue with the Chromis getting bullied, but someone else would need to chime in.

    they do fine together in my 55g and they stay together most of the time (my damsel and chromis) had them since day one just killing the 55 its getting old and needs repair on the top brace and what not
