well im drilling my tank

    well i have been looking and looking at this tank with my polorised glasses and im not seeing any signs of tempering so im going to commence the drilling process . because of this tanks size(225 gallon) i cannot drill the back and fit it comfortably in the room its going. im a bit jitery about drilling it. worst case it shatters and i go to the galss store and buy a new pane and remake my tank lol but im praying it wont shatter

    hmm. not sure. i know if anythings tempered it is usually the bottom. youll find out when you start drilling

    well i didnt even get to drill it.one of the sides is cracked.

    What types of bits and equipment are you using to drill?

    im pretty sure the snow blower kicked out a rock.thats the only thing i can think of.

    i bout bits from bulk reef, i didnt get to use them though. im going to drill the bottom and that will dictate buying another tank or redoing this tank

    or just a chunk of ice, snow blowers can fling things pretty hard, hopefully you got all the hard stuff out of the way early and it's smooth sailing from here.

    just hafta buy a new tank or new pane of glass and rebuild the tank.
