Has anyone heard of wave point bulbs? My LFS said they were a lot better than zoo med so I picked up a few to try. There brighter and I noticed there's a lot more color. So far I'm liking them and was wondering if anyone had experience with them.

I think your LFS is correct. They are mid range bulbs from all I have read.

Thank you sir. Is it ok to run just 460 or should I have a mix of 420/460 actinic for soft and LPS coral growth. I've got a 12k, 6500k, 460 blue, 420 actinic currently in my fixture.

If this were me, and I honestly don't know that much about t5 as I have only run MH and now LED, I would probably have sacrificed the 6,500K and gone with 10,000K.

I used to run wave point bulbs until I switched to LED

they are bright bulbs, the only down side that I found was that they don't last very long, I found that I was replacing the bulbs every 6 months where as I've heard ATI bulbs could last 9-12 months

My new fixture just came today so I'm gonna order ATI bulbs. In my other fixture I'll replace the 6500k for a 10k. Thanks guys.
