I have been carefully planning and researching lighting for my 6 ft 125g build. I definitly want to do LED. But Im at the point where I need a little input. I do plan to keep some corals that require moderate light. I also do not want to buy 3 Radions at 750 a piece! I may consider a DIY, but hate wires everywhere!

I have a 36in True Lumen over my 40 gallon now and well... I think its pretty freakin bright. It has 108 LEDs and consumes 23 watts. .2watts per LED.

The fixtures (Radion, AI sol, Panorama Pro) are around 2.5 to 3 watts per LED.

If I have the same wattage but more LEDs, whats the outcome? More light with less penetration? Less Light?

I was planning on running 4 to 6 36in True lumen strips but I maybe reconsidering.
