    Starting up a new aquarium can be quite stressful! I have soaked the floors multiple times around all 3 of my tanks. Once you get the bugs worked out, you can stop worrying, sit back and enjoy. Until then you will be on edge for each little thing that happens :)

    OMG yes!

    Yeah, I stress over each thing. I just want it to be perfect, even though I know there's no such thing.

    Too late. I did it Saturday night. I didn't put it on the gaskets, just around the threads and plastic part that touches the glass.

    Watch it closely. You should not need any silicone anywhere and it may mask problems in the future.
