Water hardness dkh? What is it- what is right- how do you get there?

    ALK is measured in two ways dKH and meg/L with a Slaifert test kit.

    ok, so if I already have a KH test kit (Tetratest), then I don't need an alk test kit correct? Since I can get dKH from KH by doing the KH/18.9=dKH calculation.

    sorry for the questions, just wanna be clear.

    Never used one of those test kits but if it gives you the conversion they you should be ok.
