    The only difference, really, is the filtration capacity with the units. With the Mighty Mite you will get approximately 6 months of life out of the filters. They are smaller in size so they have about half of the filtration capacity of the Compact's filters.

    Older thread, but just thought I'd say that I'm looking forward to the Mighty Mite I just ordered. Getting too tired of lugging bottles to the LFS and buying water for top off
