Wanting a tattoo, few questions

That's good to hear that some bigger companies are not so old fashioned that way crank, but who's to say your next job will be so "understanding"? You might never get that "next job" because of the visible tat. It all depends on who is hiring. Hopefully you are talking about a white collar office job, because exxon, chevron, valero, ford, GM etc have some very dirty jobs that I know don't care about tats. Being an oil rig roughneck for exxon is working for a fortune 500 company too

Getting your face ALL tatted up like grinder just posted definitely wouldn't help in getting office jobs. I actually would love to see hidden camera footage of the interviewer's reaction to that at a fortune 500 company interview for an office job.

 

That would be killer funny!!!! I still can't get over the goatee!! HAHA!!

 

If only that were true for everyone. Women are held at a different standard than men when it comes to tattoos.

 

I'd have to disagree about women being held to a different standards,mabey 20 years ago,but i see just as many tats on females as i do males,but i do agree with remaining professional,I have seven tatoos but if i'm wearing jeans and a short sleeve shirt,none can be seen.Even having tatoos,if i owned my own business,I would never hire a guy or a girl with facial or any otherwise unprofessional or unsightly tats.

 

But walmart will !!;D
