Hey all. Need a little help deciding what type of mantis I want to get. I have it narrowed down to four that I think will do well in the 10 gallon Nano I have set up as it's home. So vote please and feel free to post why you'd like me to get the type you pick.
    Thanks

Man, I was between the Smitii and the Ternatensis. Finally voted for the G. Ternatensis... that's a wicked looking specimen!

Let me know what you go with! And also, can you post a pic of the setup where it's going to live?

I voted for O. havanensis but now that I saw your other thread I think I would change it to G. smithii. O. havanensis is really the most interesting mantis on the list IMO, however your tank isn't really optimized for one. They are den constructors and prefer to build their den out of rubble than live in a PVC den or hole in live rock.

    O. havanensis are also the hardest of all species* to find for sale. If you find one I would be extremely jealous though as they are my favorite mantis. (I am slightly biased though as I prefer stomatopods from my state)

EDIT: *of the species listed. There are harder ones to come by. :)
