    Don't know about a liquid, but there is a powdered form that is easily mixed with water. It's powdered form is Ascorbic Acid. It can be bought at near any health food store.

    I've never tried adding it to the reef, as I've never heard of the Vitamin C deal with zoas. It may be worth reading about if it will help my zoas grow and keep them more healthy.

    Thanks for yet another study session...sheeeeesh...lol!

    that marine C is for a food supplement. Mostly to cure HLLE, however if put in the water in larger doses it is both absorbed by fish and corals.
    If you use a powder derivative of pure vitamin C:
    1/4 tsp=1112 mg.

    For every 100 gallons:

    5 ppm ----- 1892 mg VC
    10 ppm ---- 3785 mg VC
    15 ppm ---- 5677 mg VC
    20 ppm ---- 7570 mg VC
    25 ppm ---- 9462 mg VC
    30 ppm ---- 11355 mg VC

    If you use a pill, you just have to drop in as many pills as you need to match the above ppm and they will dissolve over time

    Brightwell Aquatics makes vitamarin-c. Concentrated Vitamin-C. I used it for a short period of time than stopped because I've noticed it would cause a green slime on my glass.

    how many ppm do you want... they say that 5 is for normal health and 20+ is for fast growth.
    As with vodka dosing you have to start small and build your way up

    start out with 5 ppm:
    1892mg x 0.30 = 567mg two times a day

    then slowly move up by slightly increasing it every couple of days...

    10ppm= 1135mg two times a day
    20ppm= 2271mg two times a day

    Might have to try it. My zoas are healthy, but would like a faster growth rate.

    I got a bottle of kent Marine-C from a local reef party for free and used it a couple times. I read somewhere that it helps zoos stay healthy. At the time I bought a 6 head red ked zoo frag that was slowly melting. I started added this daily for a week and noticed a difference with the zoos right away, didn't seem to affect anything else. I forgot I had the stuff, thanks for the reminder, I'll probably start dosing a tiny bit daily.
