UVL t5 bulb question...

Add another blue plus you will need it to overcome the AB and PP.

 

I also might add that I am wanting to keep some sps as well. Don't know if that influences choice one way or another.

 

None what so ever. Those bulbs all have excellent PAR.

 

Would you recommend a coral plus over the purple plus? Again I don't know if it matters for sps or if it is just personal preference.

 

The coral plus has less red than the purple plus but I think it has a better overall spectrum. If go with the coral plus I would get two of them and one aquablue.

 

So you would recommend

3 blue plus
2 coral plus
1 aqua special

Also how often do u recommend replacing them....9 months?

 

Yeah 9 to 12 months
