Urchin Eating Zoa?!?

    Thanks for that suggestion :) I will have to check out my tank tonight. I was going to spy last night with the lights off, but my eyes just wouldn't stay open :)

    Are you sure the zoas are gone and not just retracted?

    +1 on zoa eating nudibranch... have you googled these? They could come in on live rock as a hitchiker, and not be easy to see, especially if it doesn't come out during the day.

    Positive they are gone. I have a pic, but I'm not able to post it right now. The are just gone. No nubs or anything...

    I haven't googled the nudibranch yet... most of my rock was dry when I put it in, just a couple pieces of LR went in the tank. I may have to look into that as well to see what I come up with.

    get some melafix or pro coral cure and dip those suckers! Once you get done doing that glue them to a live rock and get them out of the substrate they'll do better I promise.Super glue gel works great!

    I just might have to do that. They open up and are happy when the urchin isn't on them... but won't he try to eat them on the rock too? He is all over the rocks more than the substrate

    so he's actually eating them, mine just likes to crawl over them but he's never actually ate them, lol you have a naughty urchin
