Been alot of work. When I first stained it, I was PISSED OFF!!! The stain looked nothing like the existing canopy and stand. I used the same can of stain. I thought it was the wood. It looked Chocolate Brown instead of a Dark Golden. After it sat awhile, and I hit it with the first coat of Poly. It is now turning the right color. (Whew!!) I thought I blew it. Next post is update pics.:)

    Finish and Stain

Cut out and routered the intake fan holes. (exhaust will be 3 120mm fans in the rear. This should create good flow).

I have a basement heater in the garage, so it acts like a paintbooth. It will dry a coat of urethane in about an hour.

It is about 120 degrees out there  I will add another coat or 2 tonight. I am actually ahead of schedule. Maybe finish up during the week!! Woo Hoo!!:)

Thanks for the props!! I did not remember the cabinet or canopy doing that. Seems it was all consistant color the whole time. Oh well, I am on the third coat, and it is getting more and more of the Golden color, like the original. I think it will actually match quite well.
