Upgrade Halide/Canopy Build

    Yeah, I have been getting a little worried about acclimating my corals. I cant move them, I can only reduce the photoperiod down to say 4 hrs and then bring it up a half hr every couple of days....This is a serious increase from 432w to 1200w

    I read in Ottys build thread where when he replaced his bulbs he went to a lower duration of when lights were on to acclimate his corals. Might check his thread out. He's a good guy for sure.

    Trimmed and Completed!

    Well it is officially done and ready to replace the old canopy. I soooooo wish I did not have to work tommorow!!! I have to re-do a bunch of wiring behind the tank, and tidy up that spaghetti bowl. Otherwise it would go on there tonight!
    Here are the final pics after the top trim went on, and the rest of the wiring was tacked down. Also added knobs that match the handles on the stand doors.

    Thanks for following this build...It has been alot of work and alot of fun. Next post will be Sunday afternoon on the tank. Lit up and ready!!!! :):):)

    Haha!!! I have been running them for about an hour nightly. So far all is ok. I am testing the Heavy duty timer function tonight and tommorow. I have it set up on a lamp. Had to program it, want to make sure I did it right.

    I checked out your build thread...I recognized it right away. I was watching it grow. I remembered when your wife decorated the canopy!!!!! I cant wait till Sunday either!!

    Haha, yup thats me. As you can see now what i'm talking about between the difference from your canopy to mine. I've got a lot of work to do to catch up. :)
