Hello, I have been reading up on algae scrubbers for nutrient reduction and algae control, and have a question that I can'y quite find a solution to. I have a 20 long display, using a 50 gallon stock tank as a sump. I'd really like to run the scrubber in the sump since I have a lot of space there, but most designs seem to be contingent upon being able to light the screen from the side through the glass/acrylic. This is obviously not an option in a stock tank. Therefor, my question is how can I go about designing the upflow scrubber in such a way that allows it to be lit from the top? Thanks in advance!
