I really like the choices of color. In your very first picture on page 1, what is the teal/blue coral called? Looks like you have two or three varieties in the center of your tank, the teal/blue and I see a pink/blue. My LFS sells them for $10 per head, and your smallest seems to have atleast 10 heads, very nice... just wondering the name... candycane?

Those are trumpets/candycane. I have 3 different varieties and they do well in the tank, I frag them at least every 2 months. Most times I end up giving my frags away or selling them really cheap to local reefers or one of the LFS in my area.

Thanks. I like the scape of your tank, you have a great start, give it some time you'll be there.

Aquariums are not meant to look this amazing, why don't you add a bunch of GHA and be like the rest of us.

(again i repeat myself, most beautiful tank i have ever gazed upon, whether its googling reef pictures online or going to state aquariums.. the aquarium in New Orleans didnt even have something this beautiful before it was destroyed by katrina)

When I setup my first saltwater tank (FOWLR) about 16 yrs ago, I thought GHA was cool, it covered most of my LR and created lots of movement in the tank. When it died off I thought something was wrong with the tank ;D
