    Not unusual at all for a Poci actually. They can become one of the more "nuisance" SPS if there is such a thing. Glad you are getting some back though after losing the colony!

    It was so nice to see some other areas turning into colonies, when I recently lost such a large, beautiful coral.

    It spawns by polyp bailout. It's cool until you have it in hundreds of spots in your tank...

    When I was in chicago for the aquatic experience, I stopped by a LFS that had a poci growing on a sea swirl in a display tank. It was at least 3 inches. The guy working said, he can't get rid of it.

    wait, my memory is coming back, I don't think it was a poci, I think it was a stylophora. Either way, it was cool to see that
